Admissions Online

We are delighted that you are interested in the Waldorf School of Lexington! The steps below outline our application process for nursery, kindergarten, and grades 1–8.
  1. Learn more about us: discover why parents choose WSL and browse our FAQs.

  2. See WSL in action by attending an Admissions event or taking a tour of our campus. Schedule your visit today!

  3. Submit an online application with a non-refundable $50 fee and all supporting materials. The application deadline is January 31, with rolling admissions after that date, space permitting. Please note: Nursery and kindergarten classes fill up fast, so we recommend meeting the January 31 deadline.)

To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Then log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status online by logging in to your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms and, if necessary, reprint the supplemental forms.

  4. Parent/guardian in-person meeting and student visit at the school.

  5. A non-refundable $1,000 deposit is due upon acceptance to hold a space for your child.

For families that have applied prior to our January deadline, decisions are released in concert with our AISNE peer schools in March. Families have until mid-April to submit their enrollment contract and deposit to secure a space for the fall. Applications for admission are considered on a rolling basis as space is available.

Note: To be eligible for first grade, children must turn six on or before August 30 before the September in which they begin school.
